Brown fused alumina (brown aluminium oxide/brown
corundum) is a non-ferrous reusable blasting media with
angular
particles. The material is extremely resistant and
combines the properties of toughness and hardness. In
comparison
to white fused alumina, brown fused alumina is less
pure, and contains titanium oxide in addition to
aluminium oxide.
This combination makes the material tough and less
brittle. In addition to blasting, this material is also
used in grinding applications. Brown fused alumina is a
blasting media with a very wide application range. This
product consists of com-
pletely new material, without any recyclate!!!
Blasting systems:
-Injection blast cabinets
-Pressure blast systems
Applications:
-Blast-cleaning
-Roughening
-Rust removal
-Sweeping
-Grinding, lapping and polishing media
-Reusable abrasive
-Grinding wheels and grinding media
-Wear-resistant and refractory products
